Experiment

Healthier network incentives.

A protocol for decentralized autonomous organizations: self-sovereign identity, encrypted messaging and on-chain governance, shipped as iOS, Android and web apps on the CHI blockchain.

An early attempt to imagine healthier public coordination online.

Some projects are valuable because they surface the right question before the market knows how to answer it.

Why it mattered

The problem

Mainstream social platforms optimized for engagement and ad revenue. social.network explored whether healthier coordination could be built into the network itself.

The approach

Experiment with decentralized social infrastructure and mission-driven product framing.

What held up

We shipped it: iOS and Android apps in both stores, a web and desktop collaboration platform, and the CHI blockchain testnet with seven-second finality and on-chain governance. The community grew to 114,900 followers on X, and the platform drew recognition from the United Nations and the Isha Foundation.

Looking back

Then

The mission was ambitious and direct: make a social network that was healthier for people and less captured by single actors.

Now

Its questions kept returning in the work that followed.

What stayed with me
